Custom Portrait Illustration - Brotherhood

I'm always super happy when someone ask me to draw for their family. This time i was trusted by a dedicated mother to draw her 3 adorable sons. I enjoyed the process very much. I even got feedbacks from the boys themselves! It was a nervous experience but an exciting one. I hope their family will always be filled with joy and gratitude.

Custom Portrait Illustration - BTS Themed

One of my friend, Jason, asked me to draw for her little sister who is a big fan of the kpop group BTS. I think it's definitely one of the sweetest request I ever got and definitely one of the most fun project I worked on. Jason also sent me a picture of her sister & the framed illustration and it made me so happy!

KAK AYU WEDDING INVITATION

A few months ago, my friend kak Ayu surprised me with a Whatsapp message. She asked if I can help her with her wedding invitation which was upcoming in August. Of course, I said yes! I was so happy to help make a little part of her happy day come true.

The brief was to make a digital invitation with illustration on it and the theme is rustic and natural theme. So for the concept I tried to put some organic elements that complement the figures in the illustration. For the color I also tried to explore palettes that were more neutral and earthy.

I really hope they like it and wishing a very meaningful marriage for their new little family!

FAT CHICKEN BOOKS

Fat Chicken Books is an online independent book store based in Jakarta. The kind owner, Ian, asked me to make a little logo and banner for their website. He said he wanted to have a fat chicken character as the main subject. I did a little digging myself of Fat Chicken Books history and found out that Fat Chicken Books wanted to help people get more accessible books so they can get the knowledge they need to reach their dream.

I thought this backstory is very interesting (and it really shows in their book collection!). So I thought of how I can incorporate this story and came up with a Flying Fat Chicken mascot & story for their logo. From what we know, chicken has always been known to be ably to fly - but only within a short distances. But what if this Fat Chicken is able to fly higher and further because he read books? The books he reads take him to faraway places & the knowledge he gets from the books, enables him to reach his dreams and achieve the impossible - even FLYING.

So that's how the idea for the mascot was born. For the color itself, Ian already provided me with the color schemes he wanted which was red, blue, and yellow. These are the final designs for Fat Chicken Books logo and banner.

My friend, Kak Dissa, told me she needed a little illustration for her book account page. She wanted to have a drawing of her reading books and having a coffee by her side. So I made this illustration with pink theme. Thankfully she said she like it and now you can see this illustration used in her book account at instagram @bacaandissa :)
